Warrnambool, Victoria, real estate agent Jeff Nesbitt says a preference for single dwelling properties is increasing the price of houses in Victoria’s south-west. And older style of apartments in the suburbs on the fringe of Brisbane have provided stronger price growth (9%) than houses, over the 12 months to September 2009, PRD Nationwide research shows.
